Information Technology and Communications Technology are fundamental tools in modern life. They have become indispensable in social, cultural and economic matters, and with education there is no exception. At Zamorano, these technologies are an essential element in the process of educating our students; they acquire a laptop, as part of the cost of their tuition, they will serve as an essential tool for their four years of study and subsequently in his professional life.

Zamorano maintains permanent connectivity throughout the campus and with the world. Students, faculty and employees are connected in their dorms, classrooms, library, offices and residences. Special laboratories are also equipped with wireless connections.

This modern infrastructure provides access to such applications as the Internet, messaging, educational sites, virtual libraries and printing. Among other capacities, we have three associated laboratories. One is devoted to basic teaching of information technology and the programs commonly used by professionals. Another is used for teaching geographical information systems (SIG), a very important tool for various business, environmental and development purposes. A third lab is used for the interactive teaching of English, a language that is afforded special attention due to its importance in the modern world and for professional development.

Students may purchase computers payable in 24 months under a lease program. Many students on scholarship and of fewer resources receive computers from their sponsors as part of their scholarships.
