Staff
members at the school have the unique opportunity of working in
a collaborative environment and participating in the decision making
process of an evolving school. Faculty meetings are held once a
week to evaluate student progress, develop curriculum, and engage
in sharing best practices in educational research. Five professional
days are slotted throughout the year in order to best utilize the
mentoring support provided by Purdue and the University of Georgia.
While our present
focus is assuring the quality of education at the school, the ABSS
aspires to be a training ground for Honduran teachers. Dedicated
professionals who join the school’s staff will play an important
role in the consolidation of a unique and special school.
