Teaching at Zamorano

“To teach at Zamorano is an invaluable experience. Here professors do not just teach theory because we have the means to show students how theory is applied to the real world. Without a doubt, it is a unique and complete education system.”.
Mr. Marcos Vega
Professor in the Agribusiness Management career

Zamorano is proud to have had an exceptional professorate since its foundation. The past contributions made by world-class mentor researchers such as Wilson Popenoe, Archie Carr, Louis B. Williams and Paul Standley have been built upon through educational contributions, innovation and the outreach of the current faculty.

The Zamorano system requires and provides the facilities for its students and staff to remain permanently on the campus. This allows for the organization and performance of the numerous teaching, production, outreach and student life programs to be run safely and efficiently. This is true to the point that Zamorano has not missed a single day of service since its foundation. Sometimes, as was the case during Hurricane Mitch in 1998, emergencies become experiences calling for work, service and leadership from the student body and its faculty.

Just like the students, the faculty at Zamorano is international and multi-cultural, specialized and experienced in the knowledge fields necessary to provide a quality integral training.

Our faculty permanently researches and, through institutional outreach, stays up to date in the service of clients and beneficiaries of all sizes, types and environments in the region.
