“Welcome to the Zamorano’s Department of Food Science & Technology. By means of a high quality technical-scientific program we give an integral formation to professional leaders who are capable of successfully working in the regional or global food agroindustry.
For decades Latin America has been to a large degree an exporter of raw materials, lacking the knowhow to transform them into finished goods. Since 2002, Zamorano’s Food Agroindustry career has sought to form professionals specialized in the transformation of agricultural products and creating added value, facing the challenges to the region such as moving from emerging economies to industrialized ones and increasing competitiveness in a globalized world.
