Dear Colleagues:
It is a true pleasure for me to communicate with you as the president of the Board of Directors of AGEAP Internacional 2010 – 2012. Under the motto that guides all Zamoranos “Labor Omnia Vincit” (Work Conquers All), we will target our efforts at strengthening our association as well as the chapters in each country. [By clicking here, you will find in our graduate online community] the alumni association work team for the next two years by name, class, country of origin and country of current residence.
The challenge is great, but the desire to serve is greater, knowing that close to 6,000 colleagues are doing their part to make our association stronger every day.
Our first challenge will be to review and update the statutes of our association as well as giving continuity to efforts that were previously undertaken. To that end we have named a commission made up of renowned and committed Zamoranos, who are responsible for analyzing all the proposed statute reforms. The commission is made up of:
- Luis Cañas (USA)
- Juan Sebastián Borja (Ecuador)
- Oscar Llobet (Honduras)
Finally, I do not wish to miss this opportunity to invite you to the XXIX Alumni Convention, when we will celebrate Zamorano’s 70th anniversary in Honduras in 2012. Please start making plans to attend now because we are sure it will be an unprecedented event organized by our Honduran colleagues.
