Health and Medical Attention
Zamorano keeps its production fields, green areas, sports areas and physical plant up to the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness. The food and water are produced and handled under modern safety criteria. Production input use is regulated under the permanent supervision of specialized personnel. We maintain a healthy student body and staff. Zamorano also has permanent health and medical attention services.
Medical Clinic
Provides first aid attention in case of accident or illness. The more serious cases are treated at hospitals in Tegucigalpa or abroad. We have our own ambulance service.
Medical-Hospital Insurance
It is mandatory to register with the medical-hospital insurance system offered by the institution. Its cost is included in the tuition payment. The insurance covers medical expenses for both common diseases and accidents, except preexisting conditions and ophthalmologic and dental work and aesthetic surgery. The paperwork for this insurance is completed by new students during their orientation week.
Along with the 24 hour a day, 365 days a year medical service, our students are provided psychological support and guidance through the personalized attention of professionals. Our counselors follow up on the students, facilitating the training process and keeping their families informed.
