Our students come from diverse socioeconomic, ethnic and cultural backgrounds. For most, Zamorano represents the opportunity of a lifetime to be educated in a system that leads to professional success and the chance to serve their communities and contribute to the development of Latin America. We appreciate your interest in contributing to the education of young men and women at Zamorano. There are various ways to contribute:
The Annual Scholarship Fund
Your donation to this fund will directly and immediately benefit a young man or woman that could not otherwise study at Zamroano. If you wish, you can indicate a preference in terms of the country of origin and other characteristics of the beneficiary.
Trust Fund Scholarships
Funds for these scholarships are professionally invested in the United States. Careful supervision by the Board of Trustees ensures the long-term financial support of student scholarships.
The “Papa” Fund
Created by Trustee Jim Hughes and his daughter Liz, from Boston, this fund supports candidates from countries with little representation in the student body.
The International Association of Zamorano Graduates (AZAM) Trust Fund
Established by the International Association of Zamorano Graduates, this fund supports deserving students with financial aid, without regard to their country of origin. AZAM works with Zamorano in assigning these scholarships.
The Simón Malo Fund
Established by Dr. Marie Lavallard, of Arkansas, USA, in honor of Zamorano Director Emeritus Simón Malo (Class of ’54), this fund provides emergency support for current students confronting financial problems.
