Although academic activities are quite intensive at Zamorano, there is also a wealth of extracurricular activities, general cultural events, sports and student parties throughout the year.

The 2006 Pan-American Cultural Fair attracted over 4,500 visitors who enjoyed the artistic and gastronomical samples presented by the students and embassies of over 15 countries in the Americas.

The Philharmonic Chorus of Honduras is another renowned artistic ensemble that visits our campus annually.

Many important persons visit Zamorano every year. Among them are leaders of international institutions, scientists, philanthropists and businesspeople who share their vision and experiences through conferences and visits.

Events

2008, the international year of Zamorano Women.
This year we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the year that the first women graduated from Zamorano.

 

MCA-Honduras and Zamorano.
The Millenium Challenge Account – Honduras and Zamorano will implement the Value Added Project
that will benefit 80 micro, small and medium agro-industrial processors in four geographic zones throughout the country.

A transcendent regional event that since 2004 draws around 5,000 people to share a festive market and learning environment.



A tournament that collects funds for the Zamorano Fellowship Program, which supports students with limited economic resources.
