The Wilson Popenoe Library has been the greatest informational support in regards to transmission, generation and conservation of knowledge at Zamorano since 1948. It houses one of the most complete collections in agriculture and sister sciences in all of Latin America. It has over 18,000 specialized books, 6,500 technical brochures, access to online databases worldwide, digital documents and a considerable number of magazines. It also has one of the most important collections on traveling and exploration in the region. Our services include take-home and in-library loans, reference, photocopies, reservation of materials and consultation of databases and Internet access. It offers access to over 1,200 digital documents inside Zamorano (theses and books), over 800 online magazines through AGORA (Access to Global Online Research in Agriculture), and direct subscription to various scientific and technical information sources through TEEAL (The Essential Electronic Agricultural Library). In addition to the Zamorano community, it provides reference access to external users, and to our graduates through our website and facilities. Good information drives the sciences and development of countries and societies. Our main objective is to provide the Zamorano community fast, current and precise information services on topics most relevant to our academic programs to support learning and the generation of knowledge.
