Thanks to the program of professional practice that ZAMORANO gives us as students, we can implement our knowledge in other parts of the world. With three ZAMORANO companions we did our practice at Texas Tech University in the United States. We formed part of the international meat judging competition held in San Antonio, Texas. Incredibly, we are positioned in third place with a short preparation time.
Every year the American Meat Science Association conducts intercollegiate contests to motivate young people to enter the world of meat evaluation in the United States. This year Latin America participated and was well represented, thus raising the awareness of the academic progress in the developing countries.
I am very happy to have had a good result and know that we can all be great. I hope to finish my career in order to contribute much to society.
