In Costa Rica: Work on Sustainable Organic Farming

I am a student in the Department of Environment and Development at Zamorano University.  The place where I’m doing my practice is called UGA-CA (University of Georgia in Athens-Costa Rica) and is located in the mountain forest of Monteverde, Costa Rica.

Together with Kevin Jauregui, a student of the same career, we are supporting the production of organic and sustainable food to meet the daily demand of the university canteen, working on the development of a draft solid waste management program and designing a new irrigation system for a farm.
