The executives of the company met with Zamorano’s rector, Dr. Jeffrey Lansdale, and other authorities of the university to discuss collaboration with and contribution to Zamorano.
Through the initiative of Zamorano trustee and Guatemalan businessman Richard Voswinckel, Frank Dalton, CEO of the international corporation DISAGRO, visited Zamorano to strengthen DISAGRO’s relationship with the university.
Dalton toured the Zamorano campus and then met with several students from Guatemala to learn about their educational experiences here at the university. He had also visited the Food & Agroindustry and Environment & Development departments, as well as the Horticultural and Post-Harvest Plants.
Dalton was accompanied by Raúl Matheu, DISAGRO’s director of Agroindustrial Business, Stuart Taracena, general manager of DISAGRO – FENORSA Honduras, Edgar Lara, sales and marketing manager, and Francisco Escoto, Zamorano class of 2009.
