Spain: Nutrition and labor of agricultural soils

Intern: Josué Rafael Deras Izaguirre, Agronomic Engineering

Josué completed his internship at the University of Lleida, founded in the year 1300. He worked on different procedures for the study on the analysis of soils and plant material in the university labs, and some field practices in which different investigations of plant nutrition and tillage of agricultural soils are developed where basic grains of the Lérida region are grown.

One of the most important aspects of his internship was the dedication given to the research projects, many of which have been ongoing for over 15 years. The intention of this ongoing research is to find efficient ways to work the agricultural soils of the region.
