Academic Program

The formal Agribusiness Management program begins in the second year, with introductory courses Accounting, Finance, Economics, Marketing and Statistics. In the third and fourth years it delves into all areas of administration, with a plan similar to major business schools, and with case studies aimed at the business side of production, processing and marketing of products derived from the biomass. Program courses are supplemented by two or three elective courses taken within the Departments of Food Science and Production, Science and Agricultural Production, and Environment and Development.
