Dear current and future students:

On behalf of the General Curriculum professors and administrative staff, I welcome you to our department.

The General Curriculum Department is your first link to academic life at Zamorano. It is our mission to contribute to your academic and ethical training, facilitate fundamental concepts of basic, human and communication sciences, and prepare you professionally through processes of academic excellence. During your time in General Curriculum, you will have the opportunity to grow as a university student, expanding your knowledge, and developing the skills that will allow you to thrive in your Zamorano studies. Most importantly, skill that will allow you to thrive professionally in a world that is constantly changing.

Our professors and administrative staff are committed to your education, and we pride ourselves in creating environments conducive to your learning and personal growth. We work hard every day to ensure your academic success during your first two years at Zamorano. You will have the opportunity to use our available resources to aid your education. These include common study areas, and physics, biology and chemistry laboratories. You may also take advantage of varying different academic support programs such as academic guidance and tutorials. Whether you are a new or returning member of the Zamorano community, we hope you make the most of all the learning and growth opportunities our department offers you.
