Graphic Design and Communication Technician USAID

Functions and responsibilities

  • Design teaching material and resources related to the themes of the Project.
  • Generate teaching resources using graphic design tools and technological tools for the design of e-Learning content.
  • Record and generate audiovisual material to support the strengthening program courses.
  • Support the management of the e-Learning or LMS platform(s), the media used for virtual conferences and collaborative learning whiteboards.
  • Manage communications on social networks, blogs and websites.
  • Coordinate with other units of Zamorano and the Project on matters related to branding and marketing.
  • Support the graphic part of the reports and technical documents reporting the progress of the Project.

Requirements

  • University Degree in Graphic Sciences and Communication Sciences. With training in graphic design, management of virtual environments and other areas related to virtual education.
  • Proficient in graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and web design tools.
  • Experience in graphic design and communication, preferably in the field of non-formal education in areas of natural resources, climate change and development.
  • With the ability to handle audiovisual equipment and tools. Mastery of video and audio editing software.
  • Knowledgeable in creating and publishing content in virtual learning environments.
  • Management of e-Learning or LMS platforms to set up courses.
  • Management of virtual conference and seminar platforms.
  • Minimum experience in technological infrastructure.
  • Mastery of communication in social networks.
  • Ability to work with correct spelling and writing in the content.
  • Availability to travel to Zamorano and the areas of influence of the Project. interpersonal relationships and effective communication skills.
  • Driving a 4×4 vehicle in rural areas and with a valid driver’s license.
